When I looked at the date of the last post, I scoffed at myself, "What have you been doing with your time?!" So here’s the answer:
- Vacationing in St. Louis (perhaps another post about that later)
- Scrapbooking said vacation
- Re-discovering that houses in Texas really aren’t habitable without air conditioning in July (thanks to our friend for allowing us to crash at Camp Cheryl!)
- Attending a neighborhood Bible Study, inspired by the thought that perhaps grown-up ladies are supposed to be able to carry on actual conversations with their neighbors rather than just smiling and waving
- Encountering new levels of chocolate perfection
- Reveling in the glorious consumer experience that is Back-to-School season at Target
- Treating myself to a cool new tool at above paradise, justified by keeping-us-organized reasons
- Playing games, watching movies and reading with my family
- Ogling the new Ikea catalog
- Reading other people’s blogs (that’s kind of like coming to a potluck emptyhanded, yes?)
Plenty of other non-noteworthy happenings in there as well – some mundane, others a pain (more home/appliance repairs, physical maladies, minor mishaps, etc.), and, thankfully, lots of just plain life with the people I love! So there’s the last month+ in a nutshell. Now we’ll return to our regularly scheduled programming.
